It is simple. You submit your campaign using the List Your Campaign form on our site. We review it to confirm it is real and meets our standards. Once verified your campaign goes live on Backers Edge and is presented directly to our donor network. Donors can then see your campaign and give to it. You do not have to chase anyone — the donors come to you.
Why do I need to pay a fee to get listed? +
The listing fee is what makes this platform trustworthy for donors. Every campaign is reviewed by a real person — not an algorithm. That process takes time and resources. Because of this our donors know that every campaign they see has been checked and is legitimate. That trust is what makes them show up and give. Without the fee we could not maintain that standard and the platform would mean nothing.
How long does verification take? +
Once your payment is confirmed our team begins reviewing your campaign within 24 to 48 hours. You will receive an email confirmation once your campaign is live and visible to our donor network.
What if my campaign is not approved? +
If your campaign does not meet our verification standards we will issue a full refund within 48 hours and let you know exactly why it was not approved. We are not here to take your money — we are here to get real campaigns funded.
Who are the donors on Backers Edge? +
Our donors are registered individuals who joined Backers Edge specifically because they want to support verified causes. They are not random people stumbling on your page — they signed up because they are actively looking for real campaigns to give to. Every donor on our platform chose to be here. What types of campaigns can I list? +
We accept medical, housing, education, legal support, veteran causes, community, animal welfare, business recovery, and most personal fundraising campaigns.
